The SOS Children’s Village provides a home for 85,000 orphaned, abandoned and destitute children in a family-like environment in 132 countries. It was founded in Imst, Austria in 1949. The first SOS Children’s Village in Nigeria was built in Isolo, Lagos, in 1970.
