Ijamido Children’s Home (For orphaned & abandoned children)
Ijamido Children’s Home was founded by an American in 1958, to care for children that are dumped at birth and have no one to cater for them. The Home has 123 children in residence; babies, toddlers and pupils of primary, secondary and tertiary institutions of learning. The children stay in the Home until they reach adulthood because the Home does not allow adoption.
